Custom Tube Products in All Shapes & Sizes -- at an Economical Price

Round steel tubing featuring a grip pattern designTube production, bending, and fabrication are critical to many metal projects. It's amazing what simple bent tubes can do!

Chances are, if you need a custom tubing solution, you also need it to fit the boss’s budget. Perhaps you’re also worried that your desired part’s shape, size, or other specs will be an issue when you seek a custom tube products manufacturer.

Fear not. Tubing continues to be our specialty. Check out all the ways your cost-efficiency, customization, and speed needs can be met with an all-in-one metal manufacturer.

Custom Tube Products

McHone produces electrically welded tubing manufactured to ASTM-A513 specifications.

We can provide you tubing in standard lengths or cut it to custom sizes. We’ve automated our operations to offer this service at an economical price.

Tubing size standards include:

  • ½” to 2 ½” -- any shape you can dream up!
  • Over 2 ½” -- limited shapes

Tubing wall thickness standards are 14 gauge to 22 gauge. We can adjust the number based on your needs.

Types of metal tubing shapes include:

  • Round
  • Square
  • Rectangular
  • Oval

Whether your project’s top need is aesthetics, durability, or structural strength, you’re in luck. (Remember that there's a difference in mechanical tubing vs. structural tubing.) We have a variety of types of metal tubing available:

  • Galvanized steel
  • Stainless steel
  • Aluminum
  • Carbon steel

Tube Bending & Fabrication

We’ve perfected CNC machining to make tube bending superior to tubular steel joint welding. Our five high-precision rotary benders (4 CNC and 1 NC) improve tube bending speed, repeatable quality, and ultimately cost-efficiency.

Joint welding has a higher defect rate. Considering you could pay $1,000s for welded fittings to begin with, why not use CNC tube bending instead?

CNC tube bending decreases your lead time through:

  1. Quick setup and changeovers
  2. Faster throughput
  3. Shorter cycle times

Time saved often leads to money made, right?

CNC benders can handle large quantities in a single production step, removing costly transitions from process to process. We program the computers to automatically check your part’s quality and identify any necessary corrections.

We keep full control over the annoying technical stuff that can tarnish your project, like wall thinning and ovality distortion. Mandrels can be inserted in your tubes and tooling to allow for complex bends while preventing wrinkling and collapsing. Finally, end and straight-line forming and swaging are at your disposal for further product improvement.

The quality checks, the fewer do-overs you have to pay for. Speaking of which ...

Put Your Part Through Its Paces

Want to make sure your custom order will work in the real world? Ask about our rapid metal prototyping services -- we can quickly give you an idea of what to expect with your final product.

Our prototyping and eye for optimization can tie in to your full-scale production needs. Take your tubing idea to us, and we’ll make sure it’s in shipshape condition before you fully invest!

Optimize By Going All-In

You may be used to getting only tube production and little else from the steel tube bending companies you work with. There are many other ways we can streamline your project at McHone. We’ve expanded our offers to many other contract metal services that can make your tube fabricating experience quicker and more cost-efficient.

If you’re looking to further streamline your production time and costs, give us a call. You’ll be amazed what an all-in-one manufacturer can improve by getting involved at the design stage and optimizing your custom tubing all the way through assembly.
